With two weeks to go, I'm finally starting to pack!! I have no idea how it will all fit in 2 bags though. I guess I'll have to be picky and only bring what I can't do without.
A place to share pictures, memories, and experiences while studying abroad in Granada, Spain and traveling through Europe! VIVA ESPANA ♥

Beautifully confused
Yesterday I went to the Spanish consulate general of Chicago to pick up my visa. So now not only is it official, but it's legal too! I cannot believe I have less than three weeks until I leave the U.S. for 4 months! I'm getting so excited but I really should start packing....that might be helpful.
I can't wait to be beautifully confused |

Mi Señora!
Today I found out who my host family is!... or rather, my host 'señora'
Here's what I know so far....
"Mrs. Martín lives with her 42 year old daughter, Chari, who has finished tourism. She works at the Balearic Islands during the summer season. They like reading, doing board games, music and going to cultural events. They are an organized, sociable and warm family. They do not smoke and there are no pets."
I don't know what to think about the fact that her 42 year old daughter is living with her, so this will certainly be an adventure! But they do seem like nice people who are easy to get along with! I'll keep my fingers crossed!
After talking with my friend Andres who is from Granada, I learned that my new home is very close to the University of Granada, and also close to the 'tapas' bars and pubs! My school that i'm taking classes at, CEGRI, is in the historic center of the city so it will take about 20 minutes to walk there!
